What is The Weekend to End Breast Cancer?

We all leave a mark on the world. The Weekend to End Breast Cancer benefiting Princess Margaret Hospital can be yours. During one amazing weekend, September 7th - 9th, 2007, thousands of women and men will unite in Toronto to walk 60 kilometres in a bold display of courage and commitment. It’s a weekend of hope, as we honour lives lost, celebrate survivors, and help bring breast cancer care to those who so desperately need it. The money you help raise will benefit Princess Margaret Hospital, a leader in the fight against breast cancer. One in every nine Canadian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer. Maybe someone in your life has been affected. The Weekend to End Breast Cancer is your chance to make a difference; it’s your chance to leave a mark in the fight against breast cancer.

Commit to a cure. Register today.

By walking in The Weekend to End Breast Cancer, you will support breast cancer research, treatment, and care at Princess Margaret Hospital. As Canada’s leading cancer research hospital, PMH utilizes funds from The Weekend to carry out breakthrough initiatives that directly benefit patients and their families. Already, incredible strides have been made thanks to The Weekend. Progress like the establishment of the Campbell Family Institute for Breast Cancer Research, the enhancement of treatment programs, and the opening of the world-class Survivorship Centre are all examples of the real impact you can make. And there is still much more to be accomplished. That’s why we need your help. So join us. You already have the courage to find a cure. Now take action to make it a reality.
